About Us

We are situated in the south of Johannesburg.
Our classroom is child-friendly and attractive with recognised Montessori materials and equipment visibly displayed on shelves in neat order.
The classroom is divided into the following specific learning areas:

• Practical Life
• Sensorial
• Language
• Mathematics
• Cultural (Zoology, Botany, History, Geography, Science, Art)
• Music
• Bible Education

CUTIES CORNER STAFF:

	Mrs Gaynor Hastie (Principal) is an experienced traditional preschool and Sunday School teacher, pianist, dancer, artist and mother of three adult children. She studied under Mrs Doreen Snell at JCE and with her additional secretarial experience. She performs the duties of Secretary and Principal to Cuties Corner.
	Tammy Hastie (Montessori Directress) completed her Montessori studies at the College of Modern Montessori with Distinction in 2005 and she has been a directress at Cuties Corner since its inception in 2006. Tammy is also a qualified Graphic Designer. Tammy is passionate about children and animals.
	Tina Hastie (Montessori Directress) completed her Montessori studies at the College of Modern Montessori with Distinction in 2005 and she has been a directress at Cuties Corner since its inception in 2006. Tina is also passionate about children and animals.

 

The staff as a whole are musically and creatively talented in musical gymnastics, tap-dancing, tennis, cricket, sketching, drawing, painting, fabric painting, beading, computer training, piano, keyboard.

Cuties Corner staff are fully trained in First Aid and CPR.
